A Message from Our Founder
When I started Privé twenty-five years ago, most people buying property in New Zealand were doing it largely alone, navigating an unfamiliar country, without independent advice, and often without fully realising what they didn’t know.
New Zealand is larger and more varied than most people expect. Climate, landscape, pace of life, the standard of schools and medical facilities, even building costs can vary considerably from one region to the next. The right place for one family is entirely wrong for another. So we start not with properties, but with people. What does the life you’re building look like, and where does it need to be?
Once we know that, we find it. Sometimes the perfect property already exists. Sometimes it needs work to become what it should be. Sometimes the land is there but the house isn’t yet. We’re equipped for all of it, and more.
And because moving to a new country involves much more than finding a home, tax structure, residency, legal and financial advice, even the building systems and products used in construction – we’ve spent twenty-five years building a network of specialists we trust completely. You won’t hit a wall we can’t help you through.
